The match on Saturday, November 19 at Pikes Peak Gun Club will be held at night.

No Match on Sunday, November 20th

 

Match Participation Requirements

  • Competitors must be current classified members of IDPA
  • Passed FRIDPA Match Conduct Safety Course© or meet the FRIDPA safety course requirements
  • Participation will be limited to the first 40 shooters (excluding SO's) in the order of receipt of registration packet
  • No refunds if you make the first 40 but do not show up for the match
  • Registration is by US Mail and must be postmarked 10/31/16 through 11/4/16
  • Any registration packet post marked before 10/31/16 or after 11/4/16 will not be processed
  • Mail registration packet to:

  • Required Registration Packet contents:
    • First, Last Name and IDPA membership number
    • Full match fee of $20
    • Division (See below)
    • A self addressed, stamped envelope
  • If you do not make the first 40 your match fee will be returned in your self addressed, stamped envelope

 

Match Details

  • Helping with setup and teardown is mandatory, a roll call will be taken

  • Setup 4:00pm

  • Shooter's Meeting following setup

  • Match starts after full dark

  • Last shot must be taken before 10pm

  • Teardown follows conclusion of match

  • No Match Conduct Safety Course
  • No side match
  • All IDPA match & safety rules are in force
  • Lost brass, brass can be collected after stages are torn down and props put away but we must clear the range by 10:30pm
     
  • Four divisions:
    • Handheld flashlight, no laser
    • Handheld flashlight, weapon-mounted laser
    • Weapon-mounted flashlight, no laser
    • Weapon-mounted flashlight, weapon-mounted laser
  • Shooter must have a handheld or weapon-mounted flashlight.  No headlamps or like equipment for target illumination.
  • Weapon-mounted flashlights and/or lasers must fit inside the holster along with the weapon.  No attaching lights/lasers "on-the-fly"
  • Handheld flashlights must be carried in a pocket or retained in a dedicated pouch at the start of the COF
  • Flashlight must be 'OFF" at the start of the COF and can be illuminated only after the timer has started
